About the Academy of Film & Performing Arts

The Academy of Film & Performing Arts teaches classes in dance, drama, voice and instrumental music. Servicing the Tansley Woods and Bronte area, we allow our students to grow as artists, and our goal is to teach students in a positive, professional and family environment.

Established in 1961, we are celebrating our 46th year in Burlington. We are the only facility in Burlington voted #1, eight years in a row! Our facility is unique to the Halton region as our staff goes far beyond its responsibilities of teaching performing arts. Allowing our students to grow as people, we develop skills in leadership, team building, public speaking, community out reach and self-esteem.
